Collectible Brussels
Design fair — March 2026
Laura Dujoncquoy presents Fragments, a selection of ceramic and steel pieces arranged as a space for composition and interaction.
Within this dialogue, matter appears almost alive, shaped by tensions and transformations. Through experimentation, adjustments, and intuitive gestures, the pieces of Fragments gradually emerge, each retaining the imprint of its history and of the gesture that shaped it.
With their organic silhouettes, her work explore the balance between order and disorder, absence and presence. Situated at the boundary between functional object and installation, they invite viewers to touch, move, and recombine the forms, creating a visual, sonic, and tactile dialogue.
Around the table, the installation becomes a sensory playground and a collective performance where matter and gesture tell a story.
Modular placemat, 2026
Set of chamotte stoneware pieces
14x14cm
Designed as a modular puzzle, the placemat invites discovery through touch. Its pieces slide, stack, and align, revealing evolving relationships between textures and forms.
Each place setting becomes a playground, where the meal turns into a collective composition shaped by individual gestures.
Dancing candleholders, 2026
Steel
variables dimensions
Candleholders sculpted from steel. Their oscillating silhouettes play with light, transforming raw material into a silent choreography.
Each variation opens a dialogue between form, shadow, and movement.
The organic plate, 2026
Stoneware
26 cm (large plate) ; 22 cm (small plate)
A plate defined by irregular, flowing forms. The discreet shimmer of the glaze captures the light, lending depth to the material.
Raised textures trace the curves, creating a distinct landscape for each piece. Both eye and hand discover the freedom of the artist’s gesture and its imperfections.
The fragment plate, 2026
Stoneware
25cm
Plate composed of two interdependent elements from a unique organic form. The intentional division introduces visual and functional tension, while the engraved, fluid, and rhythmic pattern ensures continuity of the gesture.
Designed as a contemporary serving object, it explores duality in food presentation—separating uses while preserving a singular identity.
One object, two experiences.
The trapezoidal cup, 2025
Porcelain
Ø 6.5cm and h: 6cm
Small trapezoidal cup in white porcelain, imagined as a dialogue between rigor and delicacy.
The straight, structured trapezoidal form creates a controlled contrast with the painted decoration: organic, free, and lively shapes that animate the surface and introduce a sensitive, expressive dimension. An object where geometric precision meets the spontaneity of the gesture.
Organic bust vases, 2026
Stoneware
variable dimensions
Inspired by the curves of the human body, this vase combines sensual volumes with clean lines.
The brush-painted patterns create a tension across the surface, inviting the eye to follow the contours and explore the living trace of the piece.
